You beat me to it…I was waiting for them to announce their request for bakers and they only just did that yesterday.

Can you please add a note on top that they desperately need a donated cake? It must be from a licensed professional kitchen (which is why I can’t do it). Interested parties should email them via their site for specifications and details.

Very awesome. It’s especially impressive (and slightly terrifying) that the grand prize 3D cake had no internal supports. Here I am today doing massive internal engineering on a rocket cake to take to my daughter’s school launch party today just so it survives a drive up the Mopac…I can’t even fathom doing a multi-tier cake with no supports. She must not have had to move it far!

Every year I wish I had time to enter Threadless and every year it comes up when I’m way too busy.
